Surdi Space - Creating a Platform for Deaf People
In a world where hearing individuals have spaces everywhere - pubs, stadiums, concerts, high streets, cafes, councils, parliaments, and even next door - Deaf people continually strive to carve out a space of their own.
Introducing Surdi Space - a unique platform designed for Deaf individuals to learn, share their passions, ask questions, and nurture their aspirations.
This space is inclusive and welcomes everyone who is eager to observe, learn, and actively participate. Throughout the year, we will host four events featuring different presenters who will address subjects relevant to the Deaf community.
Our gatherings take place in the vibrant city of Brighton.
During the break, light refreshments will be served, providing an opportunity for networking and conversation. For those unfamiliar with British Sign Language (BSL), access to BSL interpretation may be available. While there is no entry fee, donations to cover the cost of the meeting room would be greatly appreciated.
If you are interested in offering a presentation, in any format imaginable, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We believe that everyone has something valuable to contribute and would be thrilled to hear from you.
Together, let us create a space where Deaf individuals can thrive, learn, and inspire one another. Join us at Surdi Space and be a part of this enriching journey.
(Note: Please ensure to include appropriate contact information for interested presenters to reach out to Surdi Space.)
